Wild Angels Monday, Jan 24 2011

Hi Readers,

Day 9 is all about the person who has gotten you through the most. I’d like to present: Miss Kala.

We met in 7th grade? I say 8th. That is typically the one thing we will forever disagree upon, lol. Since then, we have been there for each other everytime. Through our family meltdowns and explosions to insignificant people who have tried to bring us down to their level. She’s a fantastic human being and knows me well–sometimes too well, haha. We’ve been friends for 8-9 years and they’ve all been great–even if the events were not. 🙂

Day 09 - A picture of the person who has gotten you through the most.

You’ve been been there for me so many times and even when I pushed you and everyone away–you fought me on it… I’ll never be able to thank you enough for staying with me during the times when I didn’t even trust myself as a human being, let alone a friend. You’ve put up with my crap and even when I’m sure you just want to say “Screw it,” you have stayed when my world is about as shaken as it could be. We are hours apart– but I am forever thankful for you being my friend and my sister. I love and miss you, Miss K!!

Dexter of Mittens and Claws Saturday, Jan 22 2011

Hi Readers,

I guess the irony is that today I went a Memorial service for one of the professor’s at my college… and now I am finding something to make me laugh. Still not quite sure how to go about things… I saw people crying, laughing, and celebrating a man who lived and loved to teach. For the sake of completing this post, I hope this is able to bring some laughter into your life.

Day 08 - A picture that makes you laugh.

Dexter Mittenclaw is kitten of many… talents. (He was named for the character Dexter Morgan from the show Dexter). He has the ability to be as loving a the cutest teddy bear, or as terrifying as an angry tiger. That being said, this picture never ceases t o make me laugh. I believe he is somewhere in the middle of these two extremes–YAY! Oddly enough, he purrs when he is attempting to tear up your hand or foot. Cute! Haha. Interestingly enough, this pic (and the kitten on occasion), reminds me of Achmed the Dead Terrorist.

Little Dexter moves like a bullet and most times, you never see him coming. Ever. Until he right on you–BOOM! So, yes, this particular picture makes me laugh. I hope all is well with you.

Life on a Hard-drive Friday, Jan 21 2011

Hello Readers,

Today’s post is all about a treasured item. I love my laptop. It is honestly one of those things that I would run back into a fire for so I wouldn’t lose anything. Crazy, I know. But it has pictures, music, and things I’ve written! I’d be even crazier to lose those.

Day 07 - A picture of your most treasured item.

There are other items I treasure, really, truly… but my laptop pretty much has my life on its hard-drive. 🙂

Anyway, this was definitely a shorter post than usual. Hopefully, the monthly bestseller list for the end of January should be up when it is supposed to be, haha. 😉

Trading Places with Me Thursday, Jan 20 2011

Hi Readers,

Yesterday was a very long day, so there was not a post. Sorry, I guess that’s just how life goes. I’m supposedly supposed to want to trade places with someone for a day… I don’t. I can’t answer this one. I don’t think I’d enjoy being in the limelight, there are no pictures of my favorite characters… and why live somebody else’s life when I am still living mine?

Day 06 - A picture of a person you'd love to trade places with for a day.

I don’t want to miss anything I might have said to someone or something I might have accomplished or failed. Even just for a day. Sometimes, life just sucks (and that is not even the best word for it)–but I have to believe that because of all the obstacles in my life, and the fact that I have to go through the motions for now, I will get to do the things I know I want to do, and maybe even things I didn’t know I wanted.
